Detroit Riverfront Conservancy -- In 2011, Woodward Consulting provided a refresh of online giving functions at www.detroitriverfront.org, as well as assisted the organization in establishing Mobile Giving for Detroit River Days and other major events.
University Prep Science & Math, a Public Charter School District -- Woodward Consulting designed, built and provides maintainance for the district's website www.uprepsm.com, as well as hires and manages grant-funded Arts Enrichment Teachers for band, art, poetry and computer/Web applications. Other marketing functions include ad production and flight schedule placement to support new student recruitment.
Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) --Since 2009, Woodward has conducted research and provided script writing, public domain musical selections and media training for curators as part of the production team for "In the Frame: Exploring the DIA," a half-hour program airing on Detroit Public Television. The Detroit News -- Woodward Consulting coordinated journalism contest entries on behalf of The Detroit News from 2000-11. Submissions earned local and national recognition including National Headliner Awards, Society for Professional Journalists awards, Michigan Associated Press Awards and a Wade H. McCree Award for the Advancement of Justice.
Your Child Michigan -- In 2009-10, Woodward headed launch activities for www.ItsMiLife.com, an outreach and advocacy activity of Your Child, a nonprofit coalition of Michigan-based education and family organizations. The “It’s MI Life” initiative aims to help foster a culture of education in our state. Capitalizing on today’s social networking trends, the site engages kids across Southeast Michigan directly in conversations about college and life after high school, while at the same time providing opportunities for college scholarships, career resources and cool prizes.
Rick Robinson,www.cuttime.com -- Woodward Consulting provides arts management services to Robinson, a Kresge Artist Fellow. A Bassist and Detroiter, the 21- year member of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) began arranging symphonic, classical and jazz masterworks for unique outreach groups of DSO musicians. Robinson's original composing has flourished, and in 2006, his original work Essay After Sibelius was premiered by the DSO. Robinson has since composed a dozen works that blend classical with urban dance and folk idioms including Latin and gospel. Read him quoted in July 5, 2010 issue of Time magazine.
